Happy National Teacher Appreciation Day!
This day is somewhat ironic for me since I expected to be fulfilling the duties of a graduate teaching assistant this year instead of acting as an independent professor, so I would like to thank Fulbright for the opportunity to be on the giving end of teaching. I would also like to extend my thanks and respect to my fellow Fulbright ETAs for the Middle East and North Africa region with special ups to the Morocco peeps. Y’all awesome!
I would not be the same person I am today without the instruction, guidance, tolerance, and questions asked by many brilliant, tough, demanding, intelligent, talented, and unique teachers, particularly my English teachers in 8th, 9th, 11th grades and freshmen year of college, my college Islam professors, language teachers, and my unparalleled Taekwondo seonsaengnim and Karate sensei, “Sensei-Kyobumnim.” Thank you!
